OK so some people don,t want you to come to them just because you are a women!This is a total disgrace And shambolic act on their part.
Looks like some people prefer to rot in utter misery, looted and plundered by men rather than saved by a woman?
Do these medieval minds seriously believe they will go to their paradise for this kind of behavior?So they should make this life hell for them themselves!
Frankly this kind of mentality is exactly the reason why we are in the state we are in now.
It all comes from lack of education and Overdose of fundamental religion which does not let develop them their own critical thinking skills ,so whatever is told by their illiterate Musjid mullahs is taken as a word of Book by them.
They remain completely brainwashed and that’s why most people in Pakistan have sane critical thinking skills barely better than apes and from thereon you have a perfect recipe for disaster.What to talk of north, Punjab and Sindh have the same kind of mentality about women and religion.
So What do these mullahs and maulanas tell these people? of course their own very cramped view of this world is basically that all their God does (Who btw created billions of stars and galaxies in a universe which is billions of light years big) is measure the length of their beards and see that all women are wearing burkas locked in their houses!!
And if some one has a shorter beard even by one millimeter as ‘required’ or if a women wears even a half sleeve they are destined for Hell,No matter how much he or she helped poor ,gave charity or was good to others does not matter for them not one bit,
because all that matters is that he or she was not “pious” enough for a ticket to paradise.
How absurd is that!
God is nothing more for these mullahs than a magnificent fetish.It is natural enough in minds so self centered and petty.
Listen to these Maulanas and Allamas talk on any contemporary issue, they will sound like utterly ignorant, How such people can be trusted by giving them the responsibility of teaching people and children in their mosques?
No wonder we can produce so many suicide bombers by instilling this kind of mentality in kids right from the start.
How can it be obvercome? Of course it is a overwhelming challenge even to think about to change all this it might take decades even many generation even if started right now but it has to be done otherwise we will keep living in this 6th century AD mentality while rest of the world goes even further ahead and this change can only come Through education and for that we need radical education reforms and then consistently enforcing them vigorously and not these tiny piny kind of changes that they do every other year.
Overdose of religion can really dull ones mind and aesthetic senses, look at Saudis and Iranians if not for their oil they would have been even more dirt poor than us.
So maybe more emphasis on natural sciences and arts can be a way forward,Evoulution model can be given more space and without giving its false ‘defects’ with it,as is done now.And all this can be done in a subtle way as well so as not to offend people ’sensibilities’.
Obviously it will still need a lot of courage,will power and character which can,t be seen in current Pakistani setup or any political party any where.So we are not going to come out of current pit.Change in the educational system and less hold of molvie on every day life are 2 things which are desperately needed to start modernization of this society which both can,t be seen happening any time soon unfortunately.
But you should not let incidents like these to affect your thinking and activity too much,i know it really sucks whenever you are reminded of your ‘limitations’ as a woman but such mentality is to be expected in such a pervert society as ours.So keep up your fine work for you are doing a very good job.
